The role of the facilitating art therapist is not to analyse these images, but instead support the client in forming their own narratives and sharing their experience of the art making process. The images created in the art therapy studio aren't always 'pretty'. because the focus is just on expressing your authentic self.
Art therapy may assist with many experiences and challenges, including - anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, eating disorders, addiction, grief and loss, change adjustment.
