Whether you are in need of relaxation or recovering from injury massage therapy may be of benefit. We offer pre and post natal treatments, sports massage, cupping and relaxation massage. Working with our massage therapist to determine treatment goals you may receive an area-specific treatment or full body massage. No matter what the purpose of your visit you are in good hands. |
SOUND HEALING A gentle yet powerful practice that uses sound vibrations to relax body and mind, assisting to clear stagnant blockages within the bio energy field, your physical cells and rebalance functioning systems of the body, Ideal for any age, sound healing allows the frequency of sound to synchronise with our brain waves. This works to activate the rest and digest response in the body allowing relaxation and realignment of the nervous system. All crystal sound bowls used in treatment are genuine and high quality Quartz crystal with 432hz tuning (the 'healing hertz of sound). Mel incorporates the use of ocean drum, wind chimes and Tibetan brass bowls into these restorative and gentle sessions. |
WOMEN'S HOLISTIC HEALTH Women's health is integral to the wellbeing of families and communities. Holistic women's healthcare offered by Kaitlin How aims to provide treatments that honor female physiology and body sovereignty. Pelvic care is an area of health that is often overlooked by women and treating health professionals until clear symptoms of dysfunction have developed. You do not need to wait until you have developed problematic symptoms. All women are welcome and encouraged to tend to their pelvic health proactively. Aiming to restore health and vitality within the pelvic space, treatment is a combination of modalities which can involve hands-on physical manipulation of the pelvic organs, muscles, bones and fascia. Meanwhile lifestyle, emotional and environmental aspects of life are also addressed. |
ADOLESCENT COUNSELLING
Adolescence can be full of vibrancy, big dreams, new opportunities and developing inner strengths, it also comes with a particular set of challenges. People come to counselling with a wide array of issues. Broadly, a person will be experiencing dissatisfaction, distress or suffering, for which they seek help. A counsellor offers an objective, professional and informed perspective as well as a studied methodology to engage meaningfully with their clients, and address the presenting issue. Paul Archer is a registered counsellor/psychotherapist. Psychotherapists are well equipped to address complex issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, dysfunctional relationships, identity issues, low self esteem, inability to self advocate and the like. In addition, it is common for someone to see a psychotherapist whilst on medication for mental health concerns. |
NUTRITION
Nutrition is crucial to the health of an individual. It can be used as "medicine" to help with recovery from disease, to decrease the likelihood of developing certain medical conditions, used for weight management and to assist with changes associated with ageing. During a nutritional consultation a nutritionist will take a comprehensive and holistic history of your particular case. You will be asked questions covering your current medical conditions, your health history, family medical history, stress levels, energy levels and undertake a dietary assessment. All of this information provides a whole picture for your practitioner and allows for the design of a comprehensive and individual treatment plan incorporating dietary and lifestyle considerations for you to implement into your daily routine. |
