Dr. Angela Slattery

Angela studied Massage Therapy at the age of 16 in Central West NSW. In 2021 she completed Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University. Angela incorporates her years of massage therapy into Osteopathic treatments, along with further studies including Diploma of Aromatherapy, dry needling and kinesiology taping to offer a unique treatment for each patient. Angela is currently furthering her Osteopathic knowledge in Peadiatric Osteopathy through Dig On Osteopathy in Byron Bay and has an interest in treatment through all stages of pregnancy and newborn/toddler development, along with a special interest in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF) and Cranio-Sacral therapies.
Angela is a casual lecturer in within the Faculty of Health department at Southern Cross University and content developer of the University's Massage and Mind-Body Medicine Unit.

Osteopath
Dr Nim Sanna

Originally from the Shoalhaven area in Southern NSW, Nim moved up to the Northern Rivers in 2006, fell in love with the area and decided to make it home. She loves the relaxed lifestyle that is available here and spends her free time playing or listening to music (click here for her personalised Spotify playlist), exercising and enjoying nature. Her special skill is keeping the best waterfalls in the area a well-hidden secret.
Nim has always been interested in all aspects of health and well-being, completing Bachelor of Clinical Sciences in 2020 and Master of Osteopathy in 2021, both at Lismore's Southern Cross University campus. Nim enjoys all aspects of manual therapy and tailors each treatment to suit an individual's needs. Nim is experienced in soft tissue massage, muscle energy techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial cupping, dry needling and cranio-sacral therapies.
Nim has a special interest in treating back and pelvic pain and providing relief from symptoms associated with neck pain and headaches.

Dr Wesley Khalil
& Therapy Dog Athena

Wesley graduated from Southern Cross University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and Masters in Osteopathy. Wesley enjoys treating holistically with a hybrid approach, directed by each individual's needs. Wesley has an extensive background in rehabilitation and strength training, including study through Andrew Lock, which he uses in conjunction with osteopathic knowledge to improve long -term outcomes and reduce the likelihood of re-injury.
Wesley enjoys treating back pain, shoulder injuries, headaches, neck tension and injuries due to sport involvement.
With a philosophy of patient empowerment towards greater health and return to activities after injury his motto is "Biology is a mistress who keeps score, and you will pay her price".
Whilst German Shepherd Athena is not currently in attendance at the clinic, she is a valuable team member, providing comfort and fun for her human companions.

Dr Lachlan King
Lachlan graduated Southern Cross University in 2015 and opened Evans Head Holistic Health before selling the clinic to move back home to Norfolk Island for a few years.
Lachlan loves to learn and particularly enjoyed returning to Southern Cross University to teach anatomy, physiology and osteopathic joint manipulation. He is always grateful for the opportunity to share the journey with his patients and continue to learn from them and loves to help with a range of issues from chronic pain and exercise rehabilitation to autoimmune diseases, headaches, stress, injuries and trauma. |
