COUNSELLING
Counselling is a safe and collaborative option for talk therapy within a mental health setting.
Counsellors offer an objective, professional and informed perspective, as well as a studied methodology, to engage in a meaningful way with their clients and address presenting and concerning issues.
Counselling services are available for individuals, couples, families and adolescents and may assist in various aspects of health such as depression and anxiety, trauma and abuse, life goals and transitions, sexuality, women's health and fertility.
Our clinic is proud to host male and female counsellors with a wide range of qualifications and interests to offer you the right fit, based on your individual needs.
A referral from a general practitioner (regular doctor) is not required to make an appointment for counselling services, NDIS participants may be eligible for counselling services within their plan.

PSYCHOLOGY
Psychological Therapy involves the sharing of information about self and experienced difficulties with a trained psychologist. Psychologists are trained in utilising a range of different psychological therapies. These therapies have been found to have benefits in treating mental health complaints such as anxiety, depression and stress. Some of these therapies include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
In addition to building skills, psychological therapy can lead to greater self-awareness - our understanding of ourselves, how we respond to certain situations and patterns we repeat in life.
If you are struggling on your mental health journey, feeling stuck and like life is a little bit more of an effort, struggling to recover from past trauma or adjust to life change, you may benefit from the assistance of a psychologist.
You can make an appointment to see a psychologist without a referral however, it is a good idea to discuss with your general practitioner (regular doctor) as you may be eligible for a health care plan. With this Medicare will contribute a significant amount to the fees and reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
